M01. Core

Applications Group, which manages security and the general parameters common to all the software modules in a single place. It also lays the foundations for general and auxiliary accounting.

M01_1.1. Security​

Security management for the entire system, including user authorisations and powers.

M01_1.2. General parameters​

Management of predefined constant values for processing banking transactions. However, each module can host its own specific parameters.

  • Main functions
    • Basic parameters: include banking institutions, countries, currencies, default customer attributes, default account attributes and BCEAO parameters.
    • General accounting parameters: process the basic parameters used in general accounting (account chapter, accounting allocation, etc.).
    • Identities parameters: used to manage the civil status database of system users (customers, suppliers, banks, financial institutions, etc....) as well as the associated auxiliary accounts.
    • Sub-account parameters: used to manage parameters relating to sub-accounts. They include all the elements used to identify account types.
    • Processing parameters: these are parameters for periodic processing (daily, monthly, etc.).
    • Derogatory headings: These are specific accounting headings used to grant a customer special conditions.
    • Table editing: includes all the basic parameter tables (general accounting tables, auxiliary accounting tables, BCEAO and bank tables, manager tables, stakeholder type table, profession-status table, currency exchange rate editing).
